Product description: The Sphera T2 table lamp from Leucos is designed by Matteo Thun. This lamp comes with a satin white blown glass diffuser. The base comes in polished chrome. A slightly flattened oval highlights this simple blown glass design and provides general illumination from an incandescent light source. Matching pendant and floor designs are available. Round, metal base supports the glass and an on/off switch is provided on the black cord that exits the fixtures base. He acquired his architectural doctorate in Florence in 1975. Matteo was a co-founding member in 1981 of Memphis Group. Thun found Studio Matteo Thun in Milan in 1984. He was awarded three times the Compasso d’Oro for good design. Matteo won spa designer of the year 2004. Later that year, he was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame, New York december 2004.
